Countryside Fellowship Church

This project involved the addition of a second floor to an existing concrete “bunker” type annex building that was built in the 60’s.  The addition houses a new fellowship hall and expands the first floor footprint as well to disguise the waffle slab structure in a more fitting wrapper.  This created a much friendlier relationship to the historic log church adjacent to this building.   Design was done by another architect with construction documents and oversight of construction by Joe Architect Incorporated.

  • Worked with design by another architect with the intent to hide the existing waffle slab, bunker type building, designed in the 60s, that was to have 2 additional floors getting progressively bigger!  Successfully hid the ugly.
